Abstract Submission
Guidelines for submitting your research abstract
Formatting Standard
Prepare your abstract strictly according to APA 7th Edition style and submit it as a Microsoft Word (.docx) document.
Structure
- Title: Be concise, specific, and relevant.
- Author(s): Include all authors’ full names.
- Affiliations: Include institutional affiliations. Provide the email address for the corresponding author. After the manuscript is accepted for publication, authors will be requested to submit a list of all authors, including their phone numbers and email addresses.
- Abstract: Clearly state the research problem(s), objectives, and methods. Maximum length: 300 words.
- Keywords: Five keywords.
Additional Notes
- Use clear, professional language and avoid unexplained acronyms.
- Ensure consistency with APA 7th for capitalization, punctuation, and formatting.
- Submit one file per abstract in .docx format.

Guidelines for submitting your full research paper
Scope & Style
We welcome academically rigorous research papers that include clear, actionable policy recommendations. Prepare your manuscript strictly according to APA 7th Edition and submit as a Microsoft Word (.docx) file.
Basic Formatting
- Font: 12pt Times New Roman
- Line spacing: Double
- Margins: 1-inch on all sides
- Page numbers: Top-right corner
Paper Structure
- Title Page
- Paper title (bolded, centered)
- Author names and affiliations
- Author note (optional)
- Corresponding author email
- Abstract
- 250–300 words
- Keywords (italicized) below the abstract
- Main Body
- Introduction: Context, literature review, research gap, objectives
- Method: Study area, participants, data collection, analysis methods
- Results: Findings with tables/figures
- Discussion: Interpretation, limitations, implications
- Policy recommendations: Alternate policy pathways and recommendations are an important section that needs to be included.
- References
- Alphabetical list
- Hanging indent
- Include all cited works
- Tables & Figures
- Each on a separate page after references
- Number sequentially with descriptive titles
Key Requirements
- Word count: 4,000–5,000 words
- Use APA headings hierarchy
- Cite sources in text: (Author, Year)
- Include DOI for online sources
- Obtain permission for any reproduced materials
- Submit as a Word document (.docx)
