How to submit

Prepare your abstract strictly according to APA 7th edition and submit it as a Microsoft Word (.docx) document — one file per abstract.

What to include

• Title — concise, specific and relevant.
• Author(s) — all authors’ full names.
• Affiliations — institutional affiliations, and the email address of the corresponding author. Once a manuscript is accepted, we’ll ask for every author’s phone number and email.
• Abstract — the research problem, objectives and methods. 300 words at most.
• Keywords — five.

Style

• Use clear, professional language and spell out acronyms.
• Follow APA 7th for capitalisation, punctuation and formatting.

Formatting

• Length — 4,000–5,000 words
• Font — 12pt Times New Roman
• Line spacing — double
• Margins — 1 inch on all sides
• Page numbers — top-right corner

Structure, in order

1. Title page — title (bold, centred), authors and affiliations, optional author note, corresponding author’s email.
2. Abstract — 250–300 words, with italicised keywords below.
3. Introduction — context, literature review, research gap, objectives.
4. Method — study area, participants, data collection, analysis.
5. Results — findings, with tables and figures.
6. Discussion — interpretation, limitations, implications.
7. Policy recommendations — alternative policy pathways and recommendations. Required.
8. References — alphabetical, hanging indent, every cited work.
9. Tables & figures — each on its own page after the references, numbered, with descriptive titles.

Requirements

• Use the APA heading hierarchy.
• Cite in text as (Author, Year).
• Include DOIs for online sources.
• Get permission for any reproduced material.
